Here is a simple recipe to make a tea from these plants (bark):


Ingredients:

1 piece of dried ikouk jaune, emien jaune and quinquina jaune (bark).
2 cups of water
Optional: honey or lemon juice for sweetening

Instructions:

Heat the water in a saucepan until it boils.
Add the dried rInde pieces and let them steep for 10-15 minutes.
Remove the pot from the cooker and let the tea cool.
Strain the bark pieces out of the tea and optionally add honey or lemon juice to sweeten the tea.
Serve the tea hot or cold.

This tea can be drunk several times a day to treat fever and malaria. However, it is important to consult a doctor before using it as a remedy.
