Two questions always come up when planning a weave: which length to choose and how many bundles to order. Lengths are almost always given in inches ("), which makes the result hard to picture. This guide gives you the key reference points.
Inches and centimetres: conversion table
One inch is about 2.5 cm. Here are the lengths we offer, with the rounded value shown on our product pages:

How length is measured
Length is measured with the hair stretched straight, from the weft to the ends. Wavy and curly hair therefore looks shorter when worn than straight hair of the same length. If you are between two lengths for a curly texture, choose the longer one.
As a guide, measured from the top of the head: depending on your height, about 30 cm reaches the chin or shoulders, 45 to 50 cm falls below the shoulders and 60 cm or more reaches the middle of the back.
How many bundles for a full head?
Our Remy, Double Drawn and Grandma weaves are sold in sets of 2 bundles, about 100 g each, so around 200 g per set. As a rule of thumb:
- Short to medium lengths (up to about 40 cm): 2 bundles are usually enough for a full head.
- Long lengths (from about 45 cm): plan 3 bundles to keep the volume even down to the ends.
- For a wig: 2 to 3 bundles, depending on length and desired volume.
The Double Drawn Virgin quality keeps the same thickness from root to tip and gives more volume with the same amount of hair. A closure or frontal covers the front section and can reduce the number of bundles you need.
Combining several lengths
For a natural layered look, many hairdressers combine different lengths, for example 40, 45 and 50 cm. Shorter bundles go towards the top of the head, longer ones at the nape.

Can I return the hair if the length is not right?
Yes, within 30 days of receipt, provided the clips holding the bundles have not been opened and the hair has not been worn, washed, coloured or cut. For hygiene reasons, hair whose clips have been opened cannot be taken back or exchanged. Details in our refund policy.
Is curly hair measured stretched?
Yes, all our lengths are measured with the hair stretched straight.
