Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal
Ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 apple, diced
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add the oatmeal, cinnamon and vanilla extract and stir.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until the oatmeal is soft.
Add the diced apple and stir.
Add the honey or maple syrup and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and serve.
