Penja pepper is a pepper grown in Cameroon in the commune of Penja.
Pepper is grown here on a few plantations in a valley on the fertile volcanic soil of Mount Cameroon. In addition to this, the very good climatic conditions, the tropical climate, ensure that an excellent quality of pepper grows here.
Since 2013, Penja pepper has been the first pepper to bear the African IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) label - which protects the designation of origin of the pepper.
Pensa white pepper is a rare and precious variety of pepper from the Penja region of Cameroon. It is characterised by its light colour and mild taste.
Compared to black pepper, Pensa white pepper has a more delicate aroma and a less pungent note. It is often used to enhance the flavour of dishes without seasoning them.
Our white Pensa pepper is hand-picked and sun-dried to preserve its quality and aroma. It is ideal for use in salads, fish dishes, light sauces and other delicacies.
Try Pensa White Pepper and discover its unique taste that will take your dishes to the next level.
