Ingredients:
- 1 kg meat (beef, chicken or lamb).
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup Mbongo baking mix
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water
Instructions:
- Cut the meat into small pieces and fry in a pan with vegetable oil.
- Add the chopped onions and fry until soft.
- Add the diced tomatoes and tomato paste and fry everything for another 5 minutes.
- Add the mbongo baking mix, bay leaves, salt and pepper and stir everything.
- Add enough water to cover everything and simmer over medium heat for about 1 hour until the meat is soft and tender.
