Food product
Originally from Persia, lavender has gradually established itself in many countries around the Mediterranean. But in Provence, it remains the undisputed queen. After perfumery, cosmetics and aromatherapy, it is now the kitchen that has seized its precious fragrance.
Lavender has calming properties that help against insomnia or nervous disorders. Its strong healing power also helps to alleviate certain skin diseases and heal wounds. In cosmetics, lavender vinegar can be used as a tonic lotion. In our artisan vinegar, lavender (in the form of floral water) is added sparingly to vinegar essences to preserve all the subtlety of its aroma.
We have made an excellent vinegar from Moroccan lavender. Try it!
Use
Very fresh on a green salad, ideal on the salad niçoise, the lavender vinegar also goes very well with oily fish (herring, sardine, tuna) and mellows the lamb and the game.
