Thyme (often called "farigoule" in the South of France) is known for its many virtues: antiseptic, digestive, stimulant.
Prepared as an infusion, thyme is an excellent remedy for respiratory and intestinal disorders.
In Mediterranean cuisine, it is of course a must, an essential aromatic ingredient of the famous herbes de Provence.
